Our strength stems from several important factors that, when combined, make our manufacturing process unique. We source all our raw materials from ISO9002 approved suppliers ensuring the best quality of raw materials. On arrival at our manufacturing facility all raw materials are quality control inspected and only enter the manufacturing area after being ‘positively released’. Elastic netting is made up of 2 separate manufacturing processes - covering of the extruded latex rubber and the knitting of the covered rubber with polyester - to form the final product. So that we are in complete control of our entire manufacturing process we only use rubber that we cover ourselves. Our manufacturing process is computer controlled to ensure consistency. Each order we receive is split into batches. Each batch has its own unique specification sheet and batch number which links all of the raw materials to the finished product. We print this unique batch number on each roll and box. This enables us to have full traceability down to individual rolls of net. After production each batch goes through a further quality control check before being individually wrapped, labelled, boxed, sealed and finally metal detected. What makes us unique is that all of the above processes are contained within our custom designed factory based in East Kilbride, Scotland.
